Emmens Preserve, Lennar’s premier community in Myrtle Beach, was honored recently with the 2011 Arbor Day Community Appearance Award for Outstanding Landscape Design Incorporating Storm Water Management, presented by the City of Myrtle Beach.
Lennar worked with Greg Duckworth, a landscape architect with Environmental Concepts, LLC, in the Grand Strand area, to develop a unique system for storm water management and retention at Emmens Preserve, located just off Highway 17 near Market Common. Lennar was recently recognized for its storm water management design which cleanly and safely empties excess water into the nearby Doolittle Lake.
“Focusing on every single detail, such as storm water management, helps us ensure that homeowners in Emmens Preserve and all Lennar communities have a beautiful, safe place to call home,” said Lennar Coastal Carolinas Division President Bob Hilliard.
Priced in the low $220s, single-family homes in Emmens Preserve range from 1,309 to more than 2,700 square feet of luxurious living space that boast two to four bedrooms and two to three and a half bathrooms. Emmens Preserve offers Lennar’s signature Everything’s Included™ package which means standard features such as hardwood floors, upgraded carpet and gourmet kitchens with ENERGY STAR® appliances are all included in the base price of the home.
Those interested in learning more about Emmens Preserve stop by the community’s Welcome Home Center, located at 1212 Yorkshire Parkway in Myrtle Beach. Lennar representatives are available on site from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
