The Coastal Carolina Division of Lennar is now offering ENERGY STAR appliances at their new home community, Emmens Preserve in Myrtle Beach.

ENERGY STAR, a program backed by the U.S. Environmental Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy was implemented to help consumers save money and to protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices.

The ENERGY STAR appliances featured in Lennar’s homes at Emmens Preserve include a refrigerator, dishwasher, heat pump, furnace, washer, and tankless water heater.

“Our natural resources are depleting but we all still have the opportunity to change our environment for the better,” Ray said. “Using ENERGY STAR qualified appliances is a great place to start because they can save energy, save money, and help reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and air pollutants.”

Emmens Preserve features 16 home designs with three product types that range from 1,480 to 2,797 square feet and are priced from $209,990. The development will feature a host of amenities including a pooch park, walking trails, lake, park with summer kitchen, putting green and amphitheater as well as a future Residents Club with pool and clubhouse.
