Lennar, one of the nation’s leading homebuilders, is pulling out all the stops to ensure that every potential homebuyer wanting to take advantage of the tax credit savings is accommodated. On Friday, April 30, the homebuilder will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and for this one day only a 25-dollar deposit will secure a brand new Lennar home.
This is the last day prospective homebuyers have the opportunity to take advantage of the first-time homebuyer tax credit. If you haven’t owned a home in the last three years you may qualify to receive the first-time homebuyer government tax credit of up to $8,000. Current homeowners may also be able to receive up to a $6,500 tax credit. These tax credits are not loans, there is no repayment required, but prospective homebuyers have to act now because homes must be purchased by April 30 and close by June 30.
“The chance for an extension on this tax credit program looks very slim,” said Doug Bober Vice President of Operations for Lennar’s Chicago division. “With the potential for interest rates to continue to climb, this is truly the last chance to get the best deal.”
These select Welcome Home Centers in the Chicago market have homes that can qualify for the tax credit and will be open on April 30 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. These communities include Arlington Reserve in Arlington Heights which also services Concord Commons in Des Plaines, Bridgeview Place in Bridgeview which also services Kerry Ridge in Chicago Ridge and Singer Landing in Lemont, Library Tower in Chicago’s South Loop and Trafalgar Woods in Morton Grove. Tax credit homes are selling fast so don’t wait until the last minute.
Lennar will also be offering special one-day only incentives on select brand new inventory homes.
“This is the last day these historic tax credits are available,” explains Bober. “Whether it’s staying open late or making it that much easier to secure a home with only a 25 dollar deposit, we are committed to helping homebuyers not miss these savings.”
With more than 9 communities throughout the Chicagoland area, we have homes in the best locations that offer the most desired features and upgrades. Our commitment to superior design and construction is equaled only by our pledge to our homebuyers for complete satisfaction before, during and long after you move in.
Prospective homebuyers can call 1-888-289-7868 and make an appointment with a Lennar New Home Consultant before April 30 if they want to reserve an appointment time.
This is the perfect time to buy a brand new Lennar home, with the rare combination of the Federal tax credits, builder incentives and $25 deposits. Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to begin home ownership with these benefits.
