Lennar, one of the nation’s leading homebuilders, is pleased to announce Trish Hanchette as the new President for its Raleigh division. 

Hanchette is well known within the Raleigh real estate market having been in the homebuilding industry in the Triangle area for almost two decades. She comes to Lennar from KB Home where she served as President for its Triangle Division for four years and Executive Vice President for a year. While at KB Home, Hanchette managed one of the fastest growing homebuilding operations in North Carolina, including leading the launch of the first homes in the nation inspired by media mogul Martha Stewart. She also encouraged her division to invest time and resources in a diverse range of community organizations leading her division to becoming one of the region’s premier corporate citizens.

Prior to KB Home, Hanchette was the Division President for Colony Homes. She also held leadership positions with Sunstar Homes, Prestonwood Inc. and Pulte Home Corporation.

Hanchette will oversee land acquisition, lot development, homebuilding activities as well as sales and marketing for the Lennar Raleigh division.

“Trish will help us expand our presence in Raleigh from the two communities we have now,” added Sparks.

Hanchette is an active board member for the Raleigh Wake County Home Builders Association and the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Raleigh Affordable Housing Task Force and a participant in the Triangle Region Reality Check.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Service from Baylor University.
