Greenbriar Stonebridge, Lennar’s celebrated active adult community in Monroe Township, NJ., was named “Community of the Year” at the 2010 Sales and Marketing Awards gala, topping a competitive list of entrants from around the state.

Recognizing excellence in residential design and marketing programs within New Jersey, the 23rd annual SAM Awards was held last week at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, NJ as a prelude to the New Jersey Builders Association’s 61st Atlantic Builder’s Convention.

The coveted Community of the Year honor, which was in the “Adult Community Over $300,000” category, highlighted an award-winning night for Greenbriar Stonebridge which also took home Best Sales Office for an Adult Community, Best Landscaping Design for an Adult Community Over $300,000, and Best Logo Design for an Adult Community.

“We’re thrilled to have such an esteemed panel of judges acknowledge what Greenbriar Stonebridge has brought to the marketplace,” notes Don Bompensa, President of Lennar’s New Jersey Division.

“The ‘Greenbriar’ brand represents a 40-year commitment to creating the most exceptional active adult communities in the region that consistently exceed buyers’ expectations.  Greenbriar Stonebridge dramatically reflects that commitment with homes that exude the highest levels of luxury, comfort and appeal and an amenity-rich lifestyle that lives up to the Greenbriar name.”

Greenbriar Stonebridge features 946 single-family residences ranging in size from 1,659 to 3,130 square feet of living space attractively priced from the $300s.  Nine distinctive designs are available, including some with loft options, as well as “Twin” duplex designs which are priced from the $200s.

The community features graceful tree-lined streets which wind their way around the eclectic mix of cutting-edge home designs.  Gracious floor plans offer up to three bedrooms and 2½ baths and include finished second-floor lofts and unfinished second-floor storage, depending on the home chosen.  Elegant dining and living rooms prove to be inviting entertainment settings, while master bedrooms feature a generous walk-in closet and a luxurious master bath with soothing spa shower.

“We’ve also incorporated Lennar’s unique ‘Everything You Want, Everything You Need’ program into Greenbriar Stonebridge which means a long list of our most popular upgrades and features are already factored into the purchase price,” points out Mr. Bompensa.

Residents also enjoy a dramatic recreational facility which comes in at a staggering 41,000-plus square feet, making it the largest clubhouse in an active adult community in the state of New Jersey.

Designed to promote an upscale-yet-inviting resort setting, the remarkable clubhouse at Greenbriar Stonebridge features a grand ballroom, magnificent theater with stadium seating, billiards room, state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor swimming pool, two-story great room, card room, computer center and meeting rooms.  Outside, residents will enjoy a resort-style pool and expansive sun deck and tennis courts.

Conveniently located minutes from Route 33 and the New Jersey Turnpike, Greenbriar Stonebridge offers homeowners easy access to an array of great shops and restaurants, including charming boutiques and bistros that line the streets of historic Cranbury.  Nearby Princeton offers a wide selection of prime cultural and entertainment delights including parks, cinemas, theaters and museums, while Manhattan and Philadelphia are easily accessible for day trips.
